Kudadoo Resort is located on Lhaviyani Atoll and features the first fully solar-powered private island resort in the Maldives. Architect Yoshi Yamazaki took inspiration from Maldives’ natural beauty when designing Kudadoo, striving to minimize his ecological impact through such measures as using 250 million-year-old petrified wood furniture imported from Indonesia as well as installing solar panels throughout its grounds.
Each of the 15 villas provides an oasis of privacy, boasting lattice-clad, curved-roof dwellings. Rooms are decorated in dark wood furnishings and neutral textiles that evoke serenity.
